Baby bunnies will be sold at LEAST 8 weeks of age. It is ILLEGAL to sell a rabbit under 8 weeks old in the state of Pennsylvania.
We have the RIGHT to refuse sale to ANYONE. We only want the best loving homes for our bunnies. We will NOT sell them for bait, un-ethnical or other in-humane things! Our rabbits are part of our family!
If a rabbit is originally sold with a friendly personality, I cannot guarantee that the rabbit’s personality will not change. Though I breed all of my rabbits to be calm and easy going, I cannot control the environment or the treatment they are exposed to (which may alter their disposition) once they leave my rabbitry
We have the right to cancel a sale at any time before the rabbit(s) leave our property, if we do decide to cancel a sale, you will have a choice to pick another rabbit of equal quality, or we can refund your money. - BEFORE deciding to buy a rabbit make sure you do proper research on the breed/gender/and type you choose. So you may care for your bunny in the very best way possible!
The balance is due at time of pickup. We cannot hold a rabbit longer than two weeks unless a prior agreement has been made. The only exception to this two week holding rule is if you placed a hold on an animal that is under eight weeks old. After the animal turns eight weeks old, the above two week holding period becomes effective.
After the two weeks have passed, and if no written agreement has been made, the buyer forfeits the rabbit and all deposits. The rabbit will then be placed back for sale.
If the rabbits are not picked up at designated time and place, your deposits/payments are forfeited and the rabbit or rabbits will be for sale again.
Once a scheduled time is set for the buyer to pick up the rabbits for purchase, I will wait no longer than thirty minutes after that scheduled time for that potential buyer to arrive. If the potential buyer does not arrive before that time or fails to make notice of a late arrival, all payments will be lost and the sale will be cancelled.

•I do offer a limited guarantee on rabbits health for 24 hours after it leaves my Rabbitry. I will offer a refund or replace the rabbit (similar value) if I am contacted and shown proof from a Licensed Vet of the problem. However in an effort to protect myself and my rabbits, I do retain the right to offer this guarantee on a limited case by case basis. This does not cover neglect, housing injuries, injuries after leaving my rabbitry, abuse, miss-handling, exposure to illness after having left my Rabbitry, attacks by animals, food choices by the new owner (including giving young rabbits treats, or feeding bad pellets, moldy hay etc.)
•I guarantee that at the time of sale, the rabbit leaving my Rabbitry is healthy and shows no signs of sickness such as diarrhea, eye/nasal discharge, ear mites, or malocclusion of the teeth.
I can not guarantee a rabbit's show success, production or how it grows out. No breeder can make those sort of promises.
Rabbits listed as show quality rabbits have been evaluated to the best of our knowledge and ability and are free of disqualifications at the time of the sale. However we urge buyers to evaluate the rabbits themselves. We are not responsible for any disqualification that may appear after the time of the sale.
I do not ship rabbits at this time. But we can certainly look into arranging another means of transportation. If a rabbit is being transported through another person, I am not responsible for that rabbit (should something happen on the trip) once it leaves my hands as it is in the care of another person.
I do not lend out my bucks for breedings due to problems in the past. No exceptions! If interested in particular bloodline, please see my For Sale page or e-mail me about what may be available.
•I will take a rabbit sold from my Rabbitry back at no charge to myself or to the owner at any time for any reason, not related to health of the rabbit. I understand that personal situations and life situations can happen to anyone at any time. I do not want to see any of my rabbits in a shelter or let loose. As a responsible breeder it is my obligation to offer a home to any of Pixie Hollow rabbits even years after they were soldPlease remember that rabbits are living creatures. They are not toys that can be thrown away when you get bored with them. Just like many other pets rabbits are expected to live for several years and do require proper care and love.
I hope that all rabbits go to their forever home. If you purchase a rabbit from Pixie Hollow Rabbitry and for any reason you are no longer able to keep the rabbit or no longer want the rabbit I would be more than happy to take him or her back IF I AM ABLE TO and IF I have the space to house the rabbit. My time, cage space, and resources ARE LIMITED so I may not be able to immediately accept a rabbit. There may be a waiting period before I can accept a rabbit.
There are certain circumstances in which I cannot accept rabbits back. Please contact me regarding this.
If you decide you no longer want or can no longer keep the rabbit, you are not required to return the rabbit to Pixie Hollow Rabbitry - You are welcome to place the rabbit on your own.
All rabbits are quarantined for a minimum of three weeks outside of my rabbitry before they are allowed to reenter the rabbitry. Should you decide that you want to return the rabbit to me, you would have to contact me to see I able able to take the rabbit in. If I am able to take the rabbit you will have to contact me to set up a day and time to bring him or her back, and then bring him or her back at the agreed upon date and time. The price you paid for the rabbit will not be refunded nor will you be reimbursed for any expenses you have had throughout the rabbit’s lifetime. I will either keep the rabbit if I want to and am able to or I will find the rabbit a new loving home. I ask that the rabbit’s supplies (cage, water bottle, bowls, toys, bedding, feed, etc.) be brought back with the rabbit (there will be no reimbursement for these supplies) . I ask this since, you will no longer have the rabbit, therefore you will no longer need his or her things, plus the rabbit will be in quarantine outside of the rabbitry and because those items will be very helpful to us (especially since cage space is limited) and to help the rabbit's new owner get started (if the supplies have not been used up by the time we find him or her a new owner and if the new owner wants them).
If I am not able to take the rabbit in I can assist you in finding the bunny a new home by referring people to you who inquire for a rabbit that meets your rabbit's description.
If I am to place be placing a rabbit into a new home I do need ALL information you can provide on that rabbit as soon as possible as well as recent pictures - this is whether the rabbit is being returned to me or if I am just assisting you in finding the bunny a new home. The sooner you provide me with pictures and information the sooner I can work on finding the bunny a new home.
